At Global Guard Inc., we are dedicated to the responsible, ethical, and transparent use of artificial intelligence (AI) in providing language translation services for our informational medical cards. Operating from the U.S. but serving individuals globally, our AI practices are aligned with national and internationally recognized data protection and privacy standards.

1. Data Protection and Privacy:

   • No Personal Identifiers: Global Guard Inc. ensures that no personal identifiers, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, Social Security number, and other details that can uniquely identify an individual, are included during the AI-powered translation process. This practice is designed to comply with global data privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for individuals in the United States.

2. Trusted AI Platforms:

   • We use trusted and vetted AI platforms that comply with global standards for data security and privacy. These platforms are selected for their commitment to safeguarding personal data, ensuring a secure translation process that meets the requirements of various international data protection frameworks.

3. Human Oversight:

   • All AI-generated translations undergo human review to ensure accuracy and contextual appropriateness. Once the translation is complete, we confirm the final version with the individual before issuing the medical card. This approach provides an extra layer of validation and ensures that individuals retain full control over their personal information.  

The phrase "Human Oversight" in this context means that after AI has generated a translation, a human reviews the translation to ensure it is accurate and makes sense within the context. Specifically:

• Accuracy and Context: A human checks the translation to make sure it accurately reflects the meaning of the original content and is appropriate for the intended context. This ensures that the AI hasn't made any mistakes or misinterpretations that could affect the final product.

• Confirmation with the Individual: After the human review, the translated medical card is presented to the individual (the person whose medical information is on the card) for their approval. This step ensures that the individual has control over the final version of their card and can verify that everything is correct before it is issued.

1. Transparency:

   • At Global Guard Inc., transparency is a core value. We openly communicate how AI is used in our translation services and provide individuals with the opportunity to review their translated medical card prior to finalization. This aligns with international standards for transparency and accountability in AI deployment, such as the OECD AI Principles and guidelines from the Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights.

2. Neutrality and Objectivity:

   • Our AI systems are designed to provide accurate translations of medical information. Global Guard Inc. ensures that our AI services remain impartial.
